Dinner with a mystery
No, it isn't a mysterious entree that will turn you into a duck, but it is fun none the less. Evergreen Community Church drama team is proud to bring you a mystery dinner theater. Come and enjoy the fellowship, the food, and the performance, which will be sure to give you laughs and enjoyment. We will have an italian catered dinner served to you between acts by your own cast. Mingle with them and get in on the secrets they might have about the culprit. It is the case of the missing teacher, and the inspector is sure to find her suspect.

Shout Out
Just wanted to let people know that there is another blog like this being run by a good friend of mine. http://www.aravis-ourtime.blogspot.com Couldn't really say which is better, but currently she is doing a verse a day similar to what I did in September of 08. I will continue my weekly verses, and if she needs a break from her daily verses, I might start up again on this blog.

new viewers
I have recently changed the settings to allow anyone to view this blog, even those without blogger ids. Anyone viewing this for the first time, please check the september 2008 section, as it has a large section of verses and other material. This blog has been giving me some problems with editing and posting, so I havne't gotten as many posts out recently as I would have liked to. I will be entering the Week 4 verse soon, and get back on track next week with Week 5.

Well... it was a pretty good day. And I use the word "was" in its full meaning. The end of my night was miserable... just to be made worse when I got home from work. I'm still walking though. Better than before, but not much.

I am curled up under a blanket sitting in the dark with nothing but the light of the computer illuminating my room. I have been up since yesterday, so I might as well write it now while it is fresh in my memory. I have hope. It is not strong, it is not daring, it is not testing, but it is there. Like a beacon to guide me in a new step, one that is familiar, yet always changing. My hope has a name, and though that hope is not garunteed, simply its existence is enough for this hope. Even if things change, and this source of hope is lost, my feet will carry on with higher spirits than it has for a while. Thank you hope.

I had a good Sunday. I was able to spend the afternoon with Miah, and got to talk to him about a lot of problems going in my life.

I got to spend my Saturday playing cards with family, buying groceries, and going to praise practice. I have decided though, that I won't continue singing for a while. Long story. I'm also excited to hear about CEF for this summer. I wish it was something better than "touring Paul's life", but I am still excited that the summer is coming on us.
Week 3
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

I woke up way too early on Thursday. I got ready to go into WCC, and found out that the meeting was cancelled. I could have slept in, but no, the rain had to ruin the reason I got up early. Work was the same as usual, but I still need to work on memorizing 1 Corinthians 1, as well as my script.

So, for anyone still confused, I write about what happens in my life and the things God does for me during the day before the actual post. Today being Thursday, I am writing about Wednesday. Actually, my Wednesday was one of my worst days ever. Work turned out to be catastrophic, and one of my friends quit after our boss got mad at her for something that she was told to do by multiple supervisors. Now I am going to get the whiplash from the event, since we were both part of the utility crew. Anyways... God is good.

Tuesdays are the begining of my work week. I ran a few more errands for my mom, and had a chance to pick up the rest of the Lost Book series from the christian book store. Work was chaotic like normal, but I didn't feel like it was killing me off. I continue to look to Him for guidance.

Ah Mondays, a lazy day with little to do, except for running errands, helping out at the high school, and practicing the dinner theater for the church. I didn't have my lines memorized yet for the dinner theater, but did well enough that our director didn't kill me. I got to spend some time with my family, and picked up a new video game in town. I didn't get to do a lot of work for Him, but I kept my eyes open.

The best part about Sunday is going to church. Seeing everyone and helping out with the kids. Kind of like a mini day camp. The men's group decided to start memorizing 1 Corinthians chapter 1. We are going to shoot for about 2 or 3 verses a week, which will take over 10 weeks to do in that case, but not everyone in the group is capable of doing them faster. Anyone that feels like joining us are free to do so. I am making sure this week to keep God strong in my heart, for I know he made me special and for a purpose.

On Saturday I got to spend my time helping others. My sister moved out, and though it took 5 hours out of my day, I gave my time to God to use in the way He wanted. After that I went to card night at my mentor's house, and got to spend another 3 hours setting up his new tv and sound system. So I had a long day, but it was a day for others. On the plus side, I did win $3.81 at the card night.
Week 2
I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Friday was easier. I got a day without stress, and still worked a ten hour shift at work. Currently I am reading through 1st and 2nd Peters, and I recommend it for anyone that is going through a hard time in their life.

Things weren't easy yesterday. I have been filled with anxiety on a level so large, I must use all my faith in God to know that He bares it for me.

Every week I will be posting a verse. Every day, I will say something about how that verse helped me. If you have a situation where the verse helped you, talk about it in that days comments. If you have prayer requests, email me at kinakamonarch@hotmail.com and I will write down your prayers in my prayer book. From time to time, I will add other little things to the blog, but I will continue the weekly verse throughout the entire 2009 year.
